To be sure there is the issue of PR and reciprocity if Ukraine off camera practiced "no quarter", but in the WWII Pacific campaign, the US practically took no prisoners and in Europe, SS had a short life expectancy once the camps were discovered.. | ||

Lacking serious air dominance, Ukraine can't simply bomb retreating Russians to near extinction as was done along "the highway of death" in Desert Storm. Artillery and MLRS rounds should be saved for the likely battles in the East. |
