On a more serious note: I know people in the bachata scene who think this has future. But isn’t the point of dancing to connect physically? I just came back from a bachata congress and am still filled with positive emotions, can’t imagine the same from an “online” dance. | |

For the same reasons, I don’t get online conferences and meetups. I used to go there to socialise. Now it’s all just about the talks, how about the “corridor track”? The serendipitous interactions? Shared meals? Call me old-fashioned, but these things have to stay physical. | |
