To be sure, the @amnesty report was badly timed and had only one or two cases where Ukrainian troops or equipment actually drew Russian fire, and said that nothing justifies Russians firing on civilian targets in Ukraine.

But it is clear that what the right wingers in Latvia and elsewhere are after is @amnesty for supporting LGBT issues, women's freedom to choose and "unpopular" non-European asylum-seeker, migrant rights.

@juriskazha @amnesty Galīgi neesmu right wing, pat ne tuvu, bet gan tas, kā viņi to komunicē, gan arī tas, kas ir iekšā tajā "ziņojumā" ir dramatisks, nekrietns un zemisks sūds.
