@aigarius @giacomozucco LOL. EUR will be worthless sooner or later, it's just matter of time. All fiat currencies in the history of humanity have always went to zero at some point.

@kristapsk @giacomozucco All ponzi schemes went to zero eventually. A fiat currency is backed by the economy of the land usign the currency. Crypto is worthless in its base. ALL crypto. It is only worth so much, how much real money new recruits bring in. Ponzi.

@aigarius @giacomozucco Why is gold worth something for thousands of years? But I definitely agree about "crypto". Only Bitcoin matters! Also, did EU economy grown ~40% in last two years, as ECB balance sheet has grown?

@kristapsk @giacomozucco It's not. Not beyond its industrial usage. Like lithium. World economy has grown exponentially since rejecting the gold standard. If money was still bound to gold, there would not be enough gold in the solar system to account for all of the wealth.

@kristapsk @giacomozucco And bitcoin is the most worthless of crypto. Far overvalued, insane transaction fees, full of shady deals, still stuck on proof-of-work with no off ramp. It's a dead end. ETH 2.0 *might* have a survival chance for offline applications, but it is a shrinking niche.

@aigarius @giacomozucco There was no industrial usage of gold for thousands of years. And even now, only about 10% of gold is used for industrial purposes. About 80% of gold ever extracted on this planed is just stored in banks as reserves.
