The person who tweeted the Highly Offensive Thing you are vehemently disagreeing with in your quote-RT is not going to change because you quoted them with "what the heck is wrong with you". Their offensive views are getting spread either way. And you're helping them spread.

We all need to stop pretending that the vast majority of outrage tweeting on this hellsite is any sort of activism that's gonna change the world. It's not. It's literally just moral button pushing. Just say no.
