@aigarius @Eric_BIGfund Bullshit! Russians are ready to pay 50% premium to convert roubles into Bitcoin. P2P markets outside big exchanges have always existed and exist. https://t.co/wW8VwWV29v 10 atbildes

@aigarius @Eric_BIGfund Bitcoin is also very useful when you want to cross borders and take bigger amounts of wealth with you. Already have happened in Venezuela, where any hard cash or gold is confiscated by border guards. But you can cross border without any physical presence of Bitcoin.

@kristapsk @Eric_BIGfund Guess what? You are not crossing the border "with money". You are just crossing it naked. YOu still need to actualyl convert it into cash in the destination country and that is just as obvious and blockable as a transfer from a Swiss bank account.

@kristapsk @Eric_BIGfund So the ruble is so worthless that ruskies are ready to bail from it to another worthless investment? How did you think that proves anything? They are also buying toilet paper. Far more usable and tangible investment.

@kristapsk @Eric_BIGfund By blocking the on-site exchanges. Also all BTC transactions are perfectly tracable. So once you are identified, government can instruct banks and exchanges to refuse your money. BTC does nothing better than a simple foreign bank account.

@aigarius @Eric_BIGfund What "on-site exchanges"? People trade BTC for cash P2P, between themselves. Sometimes using third parties as multisg escrow. Also Bitcoin transactions aren't perfectly traceable. My focus last few years have been on improving Bitcoin privacy, I know what I'm talking about.

@kristapsk @Eric_BIGfund So you want to find a fool who will buy into your crypto with real money and that is your plan? LOL The days of the crypto ponzy schemes is passed. Your "investments" are worthless numbers in the wind. Cashing in on war crimes is not helping.

@aigarius @Eric_BIGfund I'm not talking about "crypto", I'm talking about #Bitcoin. There is enough liqudity for both buying and selling in any big enough city nowadays. And it's better than few years ago.
