That said, I acknowledge there is no one 'Sydney', as the place name spreads across more than 12,000 square kilometres and over 5 million people. You can have multitudes in any metropolis, it's just the general trend of social stratification I find appalling. | |

I form deep emotional connections to places I live in and visit, but over damn near a decade of living here, Sydney has never really managed to gain a foothold in my heart. In fact, I can't bloody wait to get out of here. | |
